The word of God is not "abracadabra". It is not for "naming and claiming". It's not "recite these verses and life gets peachy!" God's word gives the truth of God's will. As a believer meditates on these truths, passed what the culture teaches or what an individual may have experienced, the heart is transformed to believe and receive the truth by faith.

Also, God's word does not propagate materialism, selfish gain, nor the fear of pain and suffering. The motivation is singular, love. God is love. His love does not work because we are so faithful, but His love works because He is so faithful. So meditation and declaration is how we develop in faith concerning His love manifesting in the way(s) He promised.

Let us never shy away from the truth of God's prosperity just because there may be some who teach it materialistically. Let us never shy away from the truth of God's healing just because someone prayed and did not receive. Every word or promise is provided by faith in Christ that we may be "perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Tim 3:18) This already tells us that a process is involved. Go affect your world by faith in His love through His word! Be transformed. Be empowered.
