 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord - James 1:6.7 Some may say “Oh when I pray, I just ask and leave it up to God ‘cause He knows best.” Well certainly He does but praying “if it’s the Lord’s will” works with goals and planning (James 4:15) but, sorry, according to the scriptures that’s not good enough concerning what He expressly tells us.
