Many don’t realize the destructive force of worry and doubt. They are a part of Satan’s system of fear that can deafen the ears of the believer from hearing God’s voice of direction, open doors to satan to meddle in our lives, and hinder the effectiveness of our faith. When we feel that we have too much on our mind, it could be a sign of not enough from our mouth.

Praise acknowledges God’s goodness and His good works. Through praise we express our thanks for His love, grace and faithfulness towards us. It also is a wonderful way to build our trust in Him because we can grow to stay committed to praise beyond our current feelings or what we may be facing personally even when we don’t “feel” His goodness.  And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. – Psalm 107:22 The old covenant sacrifices were many, ritualistic, scripted and of a great outward show. Yet the internal  Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! – Psalm 107:21 Man, if we could only get past ourselves and our present issues to really thank Him for His consistent and persistent goodness to us as believers. |
