Comfort and Strength Part 3: Know Your Inheritance

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. - Isaiah 54:17 

Notice that this verse not only deals with this wonderful, beginning declaration of divine protection but also the authority to speak with boldness against (or resist) anything that attempts to say otherwise.

Remember that weapons may still be formed, so look past your abilities and your faults. See His righteousness on you and the inheritance set aside for you. Yet, even if you don’t see the fullness of the inheritance in every area that you are believing for, every day and every time, please, don’t allow anxiety or dismay to have a place in your head or heart. Resist them as lies with the Spirit’s power then 1) continue to seek the Lord in faith concerning it that you may walk in greater light for manifestation the next time or next issue, but, ultimately, 2) remember that although we are promised to see “the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”, we will still only have and see an earnest (or as I like to call it) a “down payment” of the fullness of God’s kingdom glory on this side in the flesh. At the second coming of the Lord, everything not like Him will be put away forever!!

Wow, thank you Lord that even though weapons of many types may be turned or formed against us, You said that they will not succeed or prosper. So we agree in the Earth with the words which you established from Heaven. Through Yahshua (Christ), we receive your kingdom as our inheritance, overcoming as our culture, and authority as our birthright. May your righteousness which is in us through Yahshua (Christ) continue to manifest in all of our thoughts, motives, words, and actions. All glory and honor be to you, our good God.

We raise our voice against sickness and disease – You will not succeed! Against stress and frustration – You will not succeed! Guilt and shame from past faults – You will not succeed! Peace, wellness, and unity are benefits provided for us from above. They have been declared ours by the word of our Father and bought and fully paid for by the redemptive work of Yahshua (Christ). They are our inheritance now, and being free from guilt and shame, we receive them and cancel any worldly or demonic hindrances.
