He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. – John 9:25 The text above refers to an account in John chapter 9 when Jesus anointed the eyes of a man blind from birth with a clay and spittle mix. After the man washed, he came back seeing. This was a miracle that could not be kept quiet since neighbors knew this man as a blind beggar for many years. In an effort to discredit Jesus as a sinner and the miracle as fake, the Pharisees threateningly questioned the neighbors, the man’s parents, and ultimately the man himself. This is where we find the statement of John 9:25. The man basically says, “Here’s what I know. You all can deal with that other stuff.” Satan continually tries to derail us through areas of the word or of our faith where we are uncertain or just not that confident yet. This could open us up to faith-hindering stress, worry and confusion with spending too much time on ‘Why did this happen?’ or thoughts about ‘How is that gonna work out?’ But instead of playing his games we should all the more go with what we know. Focus on the victory, healing, deliverance, peace, and abundance that the word promises. Yet, if all you know is that you are saved in Christ, then when those thoughts come, just say that. As we stay committed to acknowledging Him in all our ways, we will come to know the best directions for our path that He has already made. Go with what you know and then what you know will grow.
Loving, patient and wise Father, thank you for access to perfected knowledge, wisdom, provision, health and strength far above and beyond our own means. Through you we sail over traps set for us by our adversaries. Through you we have continual joy and can even smile in the face of those who plot our downfall. We are not in their hands. We are in Yours. When we are tried, we will say only what you lead us to say. We will speak life and life only. We will speak Kingdom increase, forgiveness among the brethren, and uprightness in the body of Christ as a whole. In the name of Yahshua (Jesus) we pray. In the name of Yahshua (Jesus) I know that my Father does not want me unwise, but understanding His will for me. So, I receive the wisdom of God to make the best decisions. Regardless to what I may see, I know God has prospered me and protected me from every assault of evil. By faith I call my prosperity and protection to be seen. I also know that it is the will of my Father that I BE in health. So, I call for fulness of my health to seen and the knowledge of the best foods, exercises, and lifestyle to maintain that health. I know that my Father does not want me overcome with evil. So, I overcome evil by being committed to doing good. I stand resistant against any satanic influence. The grace and blessing of God is upon me at all times. This is what I know. Psalm 71:1; Ephesians 5:17; Romans 6:19
