What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31 One of the most vital things for a believer to grasp is an understanding of who they are in Christ. Security in this knowledge gives a broad foundation to stand, trust, and move through faith in God’s love and promises. It’s life in Christ or life in crisis. Even though we all go “through” various issues the intensity of the storm, the length of the season, and the revelation of the solution are all greatly affected by applying consistent faith to this one imperative thought: God is always for his people. He is for us with His good and not with evil. Who can be against us? Well, actually, many can be (and probably are) but the question emphasis is who are they compared to our God? No-body.
My ever-loving God, I am thankful that our relationship is not based on my faithfulness to you, but is all about your faithfulness to me. I know that because of Christ You are for me. You are for my development and growth. You are for my comfort and strength. You are for my wisdom and guidance. You are for my health and weight control. Through the best of my effort and deeds I could never walk holy enough to deserve this, but by Your grace, every day, I continue to learn how to surrender myself and my ways to your will. Through You, good things are seen in me, are done by me and come to me. Whatever the situation, I am empowered to win and overcome every time. I declare by the word of the Lord that there is no power or force that can stand against who God is for. Storm, who are you? Trial, who are you? Sickness, who are you? Pain, who are you? Depression, who are you? Confusion, who are you? Rejection, who are you? Haters, who are you? Satan, who are you? Through authority in the name of Yahshua (Jesus) that is upon me as a child of the Most High, who is for me, I rebuke every hindrance; I resist every temptation; and I refuse to entertain satanic thoughts or reports against me, my family, or my destiny. I command you away to dry places. To my mind, I speak freedom, peace and hope. You always forgive and are filled with the joy of the LORD. To my body, I speak wholeness and intactness. By faith, I command toxins to be flushed out, immune system be strong and blood be nutrient rich. You lack nothing because God is for you. Joshua 1:5; Psalm 46:1; Matt 21:21
