Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! – Psalm 107:21 Man, if we could only get past ourselves and our present issues to really thank Him for His consistent and persistent goodness to us as believers. So much stress, worry, and frustration would just melt away under the release of some free thankful praise. His “wonderful works” are not only what He has done that we have seen but also what He has done that we have yet to see. God has already provided for our healing, deliverance, family, financial issues and more “in Christ.” Sorry, but “praising Him in advance” means we haven’t received it as done already. That’s living by sight, but we are to “walk by faith, not by sight.” Praise now and be free to just live in Him.
Lord I come releasing my heart to you in praise. Not praise so You will do something, but praise because You have done something. You have given me all things that pertain to life and godliness and they are seen in my life, more and more, as I get to know You through Your Word. You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ and I partake in them now through faith that they also may be made manifest in my life. You, my Loving Father, have done great things and I am eternally grateful. In the name of Yahshua (Jesus the Christ) I pray. 2 Peter 1:3; Eph 1:3; 2 Cor 5:7
