This film, and others that may follow like it, must be made a part of the informed consent of any woman before she submits herself to a procedure of this sort - Dr. Bernard Nathanson Jan 22, 2013, marked the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision. Since that times, 55,000,000 abortions have been performed in the U.S. alone (link to data below). Yet, although the rate has tapered off in the last few year, it still seems that the decision to abort is being made without all of the facts presented about what really happens. This classic film (from 1984) is not about political views or religious rhetoric but seeks to educate on the process as it describes the technology of ultrasound and how it is used to view the baby's serene environment. Then once the abortionists tools are introduced, it details a raised heartbeat in the baby which is interpreted as sensing danger, the attempt (albeit a futile attempt) to evade these tool by violent side-to-side motions and, as the title suggests, a visible, unforgettable "silent scream". Regardless of one's views or beliefs on the subject, this short documentary is not one to be missed and won't be forgotten.

I haven't watched the film yet, but I can feel that there's indeed a substance we can get from it. Abortion is still a big thing especially to other countries. Though there are countries implementing limited number of child policy, it's a personal choice for some, most of there time. It's so sad because humanity is losing right now and we couldn't do anything about that. What are the possible ways we can do to get rid of practicing abortion?
